Citi ThankYou Points transfer to 15+ airline and hotel partners including Air France/KLM Flying Blue, Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles (Star Alliance access), Avianca LifeMiles, Cathay Pacific Asia Miles, and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. Yes. Citi rebranded the Premier card to Strata Premier in 2024. Existing Premier cardholders were transitioned automatically — card numbers, points balances, and account terms carried over. If you previously received a Citi Premier sign-up bonus, Citi's 24/48-month rule applies: you cannot receive a new Strata Premier welcome bonus if you received a bonus on the Premier (or Strata Premier) within the past 24 months or closed the account within 48 months.
The Strata Premier includes an annual $100 discount on a single hotel stay of $500 or more booked through Citi's ThankYou travel portal (thankyou.com). The discount requires booking through the portal rather than directly with the hotel, and the stay must be $500+ before the credit applies. The benefit helps offset the $95 annual fee — but it requires using Citi's portal, which may not always offer the lowest available rate or your preferred loyalty program.
